Domenic Primucci will share his Scarborough success story at January networking event
Domenic Primucci, President of Scarborough success story Pizza Nova, will speak at the first-ever breakfast event hosted by the Scarborough Business Association.
It’s a first in a series of monthly networking and speaker breakfast events planned by the organization, and according to SBA President Marg Middleton, Primucci is the perfect person to kick off the series.

The breakfast meeting will be Jan. 13, 7:15 – 9 a.m. at JC’s Banquet and Grill House, 1686 Ellesmere Rd. (just east of McCowan) in Scarborough.

Domenic Primucci was born to immigrant parents from the region of Basilicata in Italy. Back in 1963 his father and uncles opened one small, corner pizzeria called Pizza Nova in Toronto. Today. Domenic is the president of Pizza Nova, which is still a Toronto-based family owned and operated business. A business that now has 140 locations throughout most of southern Ontario.
In April of 2012, with Domenic’s leadership, Pizza Nova won the grand prize of excellence in franchising which is the Canadian Franchise Association’s most coveted and highest honour. In December of 2012, Foodservice and Hospitality magazine awarded Pizza Nova with a Pinnacle award for franchise excellence, and most recently, in February 2014, Domenic was named Restaurateur of the Year by Canadian Restaurant News.
Domenic has been the lead in Pizza Nova’s charitable initiatives such as annual fundraisers and events, not to mention the ongoing generous pizza and monetary donations to many organizations. Some of the charities closest to his heart are Villa Charities Foundation and Variety Village, The Children’s Charity.
